Overview

A truly green recovery from the coronavirus pandemic will be the key to accelerating Wales’ transition to a low-carbon economy and a healthier, more equal nation.

Chair of Natural Resources Wales, Sir David Henshaw has been appointed by the Minister for Environment, Energy and Rural Affairs Lesley Griffiths MS to lead a Green Recovery task and finish group to develop ideas that link climate action with job creation, inclusive and fair economic growth, and other development priorities.

The aim is to move beyond the status quo and to develop radical ideas that are practical and deliverable to address the post Covid-19 realities.

To do this, we will need to show flexibility and imagination in looking at what we currently do and how we might expand our thinking to develop new and imaginative approaches.

Why your views matter

Have your say and share your ideas that can propel us towards greater, more inclusive approaches to the climate and nature emergencies, a low-carbon economy and a healthier, more equal nation.
