Natural Resources Wales is planning to install drainage on the coal tip in Penyrenglyn to reduce the risk of landslides.

There will also be a public drop-in session at Penyrenglyn Project / Valleys Kids Hall on Monday 22 September 2025 between 3:00pm – 7:00pm, for people to view the draft plans, speak with project officers, and ask questions about the proposed works.
