Racecourse Poultry Unit - Initial Application Consultation

Overview

2 Agriculture Growing Limited have submitted an application to Natural Resources Wales (NRW) to change its environmental permit for Racecourse Poultry Unit (permit number EPR/XP3838WZ).

This change, termed a ‘variation’, is a legal requirement under the Environmental Permitting Regulations (England and Wales) 2016.

We are seeking comments on this application.

Regulated facility location: Racecourse, Babell Road, Holywell, Flintshire, CH8 8PW

The variation will be increasing the number of birds permitted to be housed at the site from 114,000 to 132,000. The variation will also include a change to the site layout. The Operator will be demolishing 8 existing sheds and replacing them with 3 modern sheds.
