Overview

We are consulting about our plans to change standard rule SR2018 No10: On-farm anaerobic digestion facility using farm wastes only, including use of the resultant biogas.

As part of the review of the best available techniques (BAT) conclusions and BAT Associated Emissions Limits (AEL), required by the Industrial Emissions Directive 2010/75/EU), the standard rules permit SR2018 No10 has been superseded by SR2022 No01 that incorporates the changes required. SR2018 No10 will be revoked and will no longer be available.

Existing operations must meet BAT AELs by 2022. New installations must meet the standards from the start of operations.
