Dee Cockle Fishery Management Plan Consultation

Overview

NRW has conducted a review of the management plan and associated documents for the Dee cockle fishery. The management plan itself has undergone a reformat to make it a more accessible document.

Associated documents with the management plan are:

• Maps
• Rouched cockle procedure
• Endorsement guidance
• Safety requirements
• Licence allocation procedure
• Enforcement and prosecution policy

The management plan is an essential document in providing a framework for a sustainable and productive fishery.

NRW would welcome your comments on the management plan and these documents.

(Please note that the licence allocation procedure has previously been put out for consultation. It is included here as a component of the full management plan, but NRW are not looking for further feedback on this particular document).
