Decarbonisation user needs survey
Overview
As the UK accelerates toward its net zero targets for 2030 and 2050, the pace and scale of renewable and low carbon energy development is expected to increase significantly. However, consenting regimes such as planning and permitting are frequently cited as barriers to progress.
We have a number of roles in the deployment of energy generating schemes in Wales, including as a statutory consultee and a regulator. We want to know what advice and guidance you would like to see on our website to help you when deciding where to locate, how to design your scheme and what information to include in support of an application, thereby streamlining the consenting process and reducing delays.
To help us with this, please take the time to answer the questions via the below link. The survey contains twenty four questions and should take no longer than fifteen minutes to complete.
Why your views matter
By taking part in this survey you can directly influence advice and guidance required to streamline the consenting process of emerging renewable and low carbon energy technologies.
